To fix the above-found issues and implement new design features, we started by designing a sitemap which maps the customer journey and key touchpoints, then brought it to life with simple wireframes using Octopus to test structure and flows early. Together, these formed the blueprint for a web design crafted to connect with HPartners’ audience."

Setting Visual Direction/ Mood Boards
Setting Visual Direction/ Mood Boards
To set a clear visual direction ensuring all design elements work together and align with the project’s aesthetic, we used mood boards, to communicate the intended look and feel, kept the team aligned, and streamlined the process across various themes. This step also served as a creative springboard, inspiring fresh ideas and innovative solutions through exploration of different visual styles.

Takeaways
Takeaways
I learned to prioritize effectively when balancing business goals with usability under tight deadlines. By following the design patterns and visual direction set by the senior designer, I maintained consistency while delivering impactful improvements. Working within these constraints pushed me to adapt quickly, ask the right questions, and stay curious about the reasoning behind design choices. This strengthened both my design thinking and ability to contribute meaningfully as part of a team.
